The Be-Attitudes of the Christian Walk ~ Be Faithful

It was at Calvary—our true Redemption Rock—that the ultimate ransom was paid, once and for all. His faithfulness carried Him to the cross; now, our daily challenge is to live faithfully in response to the One who created and redeemed us.

The Be-Attitudes of the Christian Walk ~ Be Hungry: Craving Righteousness in a Spiritually Starving World

God’s Word is the best restaurant to fill our hungry souls. Drinking from the Living Water helps us stop thirsting after what the world offers.

The Be-Attitudes of the Christian Walk ~ Be Prayerful

God knows our needs before we voice them. But He still appreciates a gracious appeal for those needs and a heart of gratitude when we recognize He is the one providing.

Destination RESToration The Cost and Value of Restoration

I am a bargain hunter. My husband likes to remind me that it is only a good deal if it is something you need or really want and find it for a great price. But there is something very satisfying about finding an old beat up piece of furniture and recreating it into something beautiful and useful, especially if it ends up being a gift for a special friend.

Isn’t that how God is with us? He finds us all broken down, worn out, sometimes we may even think of ourselves as worthless. And then He makes something beautiful of our lives.

Destination RESToration Ten Tools for Restored Relationships

Depending on God to give us the tools to use and relying on Him to give us the wisdom in knowing how to use them will make our relationship restoration go far more smoothly than if we try to fix things in our own power. His power is made perfect in our weakness.

I am a Child of God Part II

I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father who rescues me from the messes that I make; who goes before me and prepares the way for me; who walks beside me, so I am never alone. I am so fortunate to have the One who can pick me up out of the mirey pit and set my feet on solid ground. And I am humbled that the Creator of the Universe cares enough about me to slow me down and tell me, “Not that way my daughter, here is the way, walk in it.” On my own, in my own power, I can really wander, but with Him at the helm of my ship, I will stay on course.

Jehovah Rophe/Rapha Who is our King? Part III

Whatever season you are in, know that Jehovah Rophe is the God who heals because He is the God who hears. He hears your cry, knows your pain, and wants to bring you peace even in the Valley of the Shadow of Death

Sacred & Set-Down Saturdays

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”  Matthew 11:28-30

Friends, Family & Forgiveness Fridays

This Friday, Good Friday, the Friday before Resurrection Sunday is especially important. It the day that we remember His Finished work on the cross. It is because of His death that we can have forgiveness; because of His stripes we can be healed; because of His resurrection we can have everlasting life, life more abundant.

Thankful & Thirsty Thursdays

God gave us His creation as a gift so that we can know Him better. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:20 I want to have a thankful heart every moment of every day, and little glimpses of God, through His creation, are reminders to be grateful throughout.
