We have been taught to not trust strangers, but our God has offered us the privilege of knowing Him, our King and Creator of the universe, intimately and personally. We learn to trust Him when we grow in revelation, knowledge and understanding of His great name. We do this through studying scripture, listening to sound teaching, and praying. God invites us right where we are to know and trust Him and to become a Child of the King.
Whatever season you are in, know that Jehovah Rophe is the God who heals because He is the God who hears. He hears your cry, knows your pain, and wants to bring you peace even in the Valley of the Shadow of Death
We have all sinned. God loves us. Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again so we can have life, life more abundant.
I received a gift in observing a saint go through the slow process of losing herself and gaining Jesus.
I celebrated Christmas. It was a meaningful time of celebrating Christ’s birth with family and friends. I love the music, the time sitting in my home with just the fireplace and the Christmas tree to light and give warmth. But the idea of “preparing for Advent” escaped me.
We do not have to go through life feeling like we are living on a deserted island with only an inanimate object as a friend; desperately holding on to an unopened gift as our only hope.
